CS110 Diploma in Computer Science
The programme has the following objectives:

* semiprofessionals in computer science who analyze and apply the knowledge and understanding to provide quality products and services to the government agencies and ICT industries.
* semiprofessionals in computer science who lead and engages in teamwork problem solving tasks across discipline through effective communicative
* semiprofessionals in computer science who continues to advance his/her knowledge and abilities by utilizing ICT to explore business opportunities in the ICT industry.
* semiprofessionals in computer science who practice ethical and professional values in providing services to the recipients and provider of the ICT industry.

UNIVERSITY GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Passed SPM or its equivalent recognized by the Government of Malaysia with FIVE (5) credits including Bahasa Melayu.

PROGRAMME SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Fulfill the UNIVERSITY GENERAL REQUIREMENTS with credits in the following subjects:

2. Passed the Pre-Diploma in Science Programme (PD008) from UiTM

OR

3. Passed the Certificate in Computer Programming from UiTM or Certificate in Information Technology from UiTM with a CGPA of at least 2.7 and ONE (1) year of working experience in any related fields.

AND

The Diploma in Computer Science holders are needed in both private and public sector. There are many job opportunities available for graduates of this programme since every organizations will require IT personnels

ICT introduces new way for doing bussinesss resulting in many new job designations. Among the many designations that may be filled by the graduates are : Web Designers, Programmers, Technical Writers, Networking and Mobille Computing Experts, Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Database Administrators, System Analysts and other related posts. Diploma holders can also pursue their studies at a higher level.
