Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Perlis

The main function of this division is to manage matters pertaining to general campus administration, employment and service, training and utilities, campus cleanliness, inventory, as well as transport. It also bears the responsibility in supervising campus safety, besides the maintenance of campus property and development. This division is headed by the Senior Deputy Registrar.

The academic division oversees the development and academic progress of the students. It is headed by the Deputy Rector, who is assisted by Programme Heads and Coordinators. Several key units in this division are language laboratories, science laboratories, computer laboratories and engineering workshops.

Led by the Deputy Rector, this division is responsible to aspects such as students’ code of conduct, ethics and welfare, besides coordinating students’ facilities and activities. There are various units in this division, i.e., Sports Unit, Hostel Unit, Career and Counseling Unit, Medical Unit, Religious Unit and Kesatria.

The bursary is in-charge of financial management, including property management, orders, quotations, budgeting, trust funds and student funds. The Bursary is headed by the Senior Assistant Bursar.

The library has a seating capacity of 650, including study carrels. It houses 93,671 books, 706 periodical titles, 26 databases, NST Online, 3 discussion rooms, 12 cubicles, 2 prayer rooms, 1 room for disabled students, 91 computer terminals at its IT corner and an exhibition corner depicting the history of UiTM Perlis. At its helm is the Deputy Head Librarian.

This division was established in May 2009 and is lead by Deputy Rector. The units in this division are Research Unit, Consultancy Unit, Centre for UiTM-Industrial Linkages (UiLC), University Publications Centre (UPENA), Integrated Agrotecnology and Resource Management (AITReM), Tunas Mekar Programme and Malaysian Entrepreneurship Development Centre (MEDEC). The main functions of this division are coordinating researches, consultancy, writing, publications, industry linkages activities and entrepreneurship programmes.
