The Faculty of Built Environment (FBE), formerly known as the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying (FSPU) and the College of Built Environment (CBE), was officially renamed in May 2025.

Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Perlis Branch, Arau Campus, is one of five (5) campuses offering academic programmes under FBE. At UiTM Perlis, FBE has established itself as one of the leading local institutions providing education and training in the field of surveying and geomatics.

Currently, the faculty offers two (2) academic programmes in this field: the Diploma in Geomatics Science (BE120) and the Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Geomatics (Hons) (BE220).
