The Faculty of Accounting was among the first faculties introduced at UiTM Perlis in 1974. Starting with the offering of AC110 Diploma in Accounting in 1974, other programs were also introduced, namely AC220 Bachelor of Accounting (Hons) in 1997 and AC120 Diploma in Information Systems. Accounting in 2004. The first intake of AC120 students was 15 people. Currently, the enrollment of AC120 students at the Faculty of Accounting UiTM Perlis is 300 people with an estimated 60 people for each intake. Students can complete the AC120 program by taking the program full-time for a period of 2 years 6 months (5 semesters). The AC120 program is not run part-time by the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Studies (iCEPS)
