The Strategic and University Transformation Unit which is placed under the Rector’s Office, coordinates the campus strategic planning and manages the campus strategic official information. This unit is entrusted to support University Transformation Division (BTU), Universiti Teknologi MARA in planning, strategizing and executing UiTM2030 strategic plan to become a high-impact premier university by 2030. The aspiration of UiTM2030 is to lead UiTM to be a high-impact premier university by nurturing wisdom-driven Professional Bumiputera rooted in UiTM-DNA, empowered through ethics, entrepreneurship, advanced knowledge, talent development, and impactful research for national prosperity and global relevance.
UNIT ROLE

The Strategic and University Transformation Unit of UiTM Perlis Branch plays a key role in ensuring that the implementation of the campus strategic plan is aligned with the mission and vision of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The unit serves as the main liaison between the University Transformation Division (BTU) and UiTM Perlis Branch in communicating the university’s direction, strategies, and achievements.

In addition, the unit is responsible for monitoring the campus Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of UiTM’s transformation strategies. Through these efforts, the unit is committed to ensuring that UiTM Perlis Branch moves in tandem with the university’s strategic aspirations and continues to achieve institutional excellence.

Mission
The Strategic and University Transformation Unit of UiTM Perlis Branch coordinates comprehensive campus strategic planning to ensure that all departments and responsibility centres (PTJs) operate in alignment with the strategic direction and objectives of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The unit also plays a vital role in the systematic and continuous planning, coordination, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Strategic Action Plans (SAPs) to ensure the effective implementation of high-impact strategies that contribute to the overall excellence of the institution.
OBJECTIVES
- To assist all departments in aligning and coordinating strategic planning activities in accordance with the direction and objectives outlined in the UiTM Strategic Plan.
- To plan, coordinate, and monitor the reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Strategic Action Plans (SAP) systematically to ensure effective implementation of strategies at the campus level.
CLIENT CHARTER
The University Strategic and Transformation Unit, Cawangan Perlis is committed to delivering quality services in the following:
- To prepare the UiTM Perlis Branch Strategic Plan in alignment with the UiTM Strategic Plan within six (6) months after its approval at the university level.
- To assist the Responsibility Centres (PTJ) at UiTM Perlis Branch in registering and monitoring the progress of their respective strategic plans in the UiSMS system after the UiTM Perlis Branch Strategic Plan has been finalized.
- To evaluate and report the progress of PTJ strategic plan achievements at least once a year to ensure continuous improvement.
- To prepare and disseminate campus performance information to the top management of UiTM Perlis Branch and the University Transformation Division (BTU) on a regular basis.
- To provide feedback to clients regarding requests or inquiries related to strategic data within three (3) working days from the date of request submission.
